Gtk2 Perl on freebsd 5.1

basically it's a stock config with perl5.8 built from cvsup'd ports
(which is version 5.8.2) using WITH_THREADS=yes in the make command
line.

muppet, i made a tiny commit to Glib this morning to get it to compile
when i tried without a threaded perl, you might want to take a look at
it.

-rm

i can verify that cvs head will compile and work on freebsd 5.1 with the
following config.

gamma$ uname -a
FreeBSD gamma.local 5.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE #0: Thu Jun 5
02:55:42 GMT 2003
root wv1u btc adaptec com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386
gamma$ perl -v

This is perl, v5.8.2 built for i386-freebsd-thread-multi
