What about the namespace Gtk2::Helper (or probably Gtk2::Util) for such
functions? Widget wrappers could be placed there also, e.g.
Gtk2::Helper::CList (if somebody want to have it ;)
sounds good to me. i was pondering a special TreeModel subclass which ties a
perl hash to a tree or an array to list; it would go in there, should i
actually get time to do that.
as for where the code will reside: eventually each toplevel directory (under
gtk2-perl-xs, that is) will be a separate entity, so if you don't want
somebody to be able to have Gtk2 without Gtk2::Helper, i see no problem with
you putting that code into a pm under gtk2-perl-xs/Gtk2/, or maybe even
gtk2-perl-xs/Gtk2/pm/ if there will be several files.
