Thanks for your guidence
Actually I am new to Gtk-perl.
I am trying to pack an image and label  to be precise
i have our companys logo in index.gif (file) i.e the
file 
extension is index.gif. presently I am able to do only
xpm images. how can i attach an .gif image to label
widget.
Kindly help me
