Indeed. My GTK+ 2.2.2 seems to be more tolerant in respect to giving focus to cells that aren't in the view yet. I moved the whole block after the call that attaches the column to the view. I think that should fix it. The diff against current (anonymous) CVS is attached. Bye, -Torsten
