for the two or three of you out there who don't read slashdot take a
look at this (don't worry it's gtk related):

that opens up some cool possibilities like those where an installer
needs to be able to run either a X environment or in a terminal as the
case with some os's. haven't much more than glanced over the article so
i don't know that much about it, it's very cool in concept though.
