GTK Problem

Hi ,

We have installed glib1.2.8 and gtk1.2.8 under RedHat Linux 7.0 .

While configuring gtk, we are getting following error ...

"Checking for XOpenDisplay in -lX11.....no"
"libX11 not found"

I had already set the /usr/X11R6/lib and /usr/X11R6/include in
/etc/ld.so.conf file

I have also added /usr/X11R6/lib & /usr/X11R6/include in ./configure file.

I have also run the ./configure file by including
--x-includes=/usr/X11R6/include and --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib


Because of above errors we are unable to run following commands.

1> make
11> make install
 
Please try to give us some solution to resolve the problem
