Re: gnome-glade-gtk-perl layout convergence issue

Things got much simpler when I (1) changed the hbox to an hpaned,
which turns out to avoid the infinite-expose-loop problem I was having
with hbox, as well as making the users happier, and (2) ditched the
aspectFrame.

I'd still like to calculate an initial slider position, not in
absolute terms, but I'll kludge that for now...
