gtkperl led in a toolbar

Hi there,

I try to add a networktraffic indicator led into a toolbar. i have two pixmaps etc..i can add the "off-state" 
led into toolbar...
but how should i repleace it with the "on-state"? the question is not how to time the change..but how to 
replace an xpm
by another on the fly during the programm runs.
