Gtk::GladeXML::create_custom_widget is not called

Hello!

        Can anybody tell me how I can create custom widgets in
        Gtk::GladeXML?

        I have tried the example, and I got this:

GModule-CRITICAL **: file gmodule.c: line 370 (g_module_symbol):
assertion `symbol_name != NULL' failed.

** WARNING **: could not find widget creation function

Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 3174 (gtk_widget_grab_default):
assertion `GTK_WIDGET_CAN_DEFAULT (widget)' failed.

I use debian woody and perl 5.6, libglade-gnome.so.0.4.0.

I tried to redefine the Gtk::GladeXML::create_custom_widget sub, but it
has not even called (I put a "print" in it...).
