So you’ve got .local as a plain file and that’s blocking jhbuild.
Look at it before you blow it away, some other program you have installed might need it for something.
General observation, though: Gtk-OSX is for developers, not casual users. You seem to lack the system
knowledge that one would expect of a developer, so you’re probably better off with MacPorts or Homebrew than
Gtk-OSX.
