This is quite easy to do and test yourself. All you would need to do is change these lines and submit a pull request on Github or bugzilla.gnome.org, whichever you prefer:

You would put the new .29 tarball there and update its SHA hash (which you can find in the download directory at ftp.gnome.org). Then build it and check whether the patches still apply correctly. Likely some of them have been merged already, especially the ones with bug numbers which you can check on bugzilla.gnome.org.
