[gtk-osx-users] Latest gtk-osx.modules seems to be broken

I include the following in my .modulesets file	
>   <include href="http://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk-osx/plain/modulesets-stable/gtk-osx.modules"/>

This morning when I tried to build I got the following error

When I tried to unpack /Users/pete/gtk/source/pkgs/gtk+-2.24.9.tar.xz 
myself I got

> $ tar -xf gtk+-2.24.9.tar.xz
> tar: Unrecognized archive format: Inappropriate file type or format
> tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors.

This was working fine with the earlier version of gtk-osx.modules
