Sorry for posting to the mailing list, but I could not find where to report bugs. I had a problem cross compiling an objective-c file for the 10.4 SDK on a 10.6 machine. I think in the end I managed to solve the problem by adding appropriate environment variables for OBJCFLAGS specifying the include dir, isysroot, architecture and min sdk version (i.e. like CXXFLAGS and CFLAGS). Can this be added in .jhbuildrc?
