I've been using the gtk-osx-build-setup.sh script which picks an older
jhbuild stable release, and this fix doesn't seem to be in a jhbuild stable
release yet. For the stable moduleset, I prefer to have a solution that
works with the gtk-osx-build-setup.sh script, so I'd prefer to use this
workaround for now.

Hmm, on the other hand 1.0 is not compatible with 0.10 so apps need
porting, so I'd favour keeping both in stable

I'm trying to get virt-viewer/spice-gtk builds on OSX, and this can use
either pulse-audio or gstreamer for audio, so I went for gstreamer, I
didn't look at all at using the native audio facilities.
