Same error should be in the gtk-osx distro, once updated to pygtk 2.24.0 ?
But pygtk was referring here for gdk/quartz, sorry if that was in error...

Anyways, as long as pygtk includes <gdk/gdkquartz.h> (and <AppKit/AppKit.h>)
it will need to set -xobjective-c as well. Thanks for the feedback/comments.
