Hi;
which version of gtk-doc are you using? The deprecation tagging was a
bit overzealous in the past, and I fixed a couple of gtk-doc bugs that
also affected GLib, but it's by all means not perfect.
I recommend trying to get down to a minimal reproducible test case;
you can modify the gtk-doc test suite for that:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk-doc/tree/tests
and then open a bug.
Ciao,
Emmanuele.

Hi all,
gtk-doc is tagging some things in my library as deprecated, but I've
no idea why. For example:
http://www.vips.ecs.soton.ac.uk/development/8.3/doc/html/libvips/libvips-vips.html#VIPS-INIT:CAPS
Generated from this macro:
https://github.com/jcupitt/libvips/blob/master/libvips/include/vips/vips.h#L166
and this comment:
https://github.com/jcupitt/libvips/blob/master/libvips/iofuncs/init.c#L126
What are the rules for generating the "deprecated" warning? Does
anyone have any tips for tracking this down?
John
