you should install the version of GTK+ that shipped with Fedora 15 —
either GTK+ 2.24 or GTK+ 3.0, depending on which API version you are
targeting.

I'd like to point out that Fedora 15 has been released 3.5 years ago,
and has been end-of-lifed more than 2 years ago, which means it not
only is hopelessly out of date, but it's also not going to receive any
update — including security updates. I strongly urge you to update to
a more recent version.
