I would like to port the Aporia Nim-(rod) editor from GTK2 to GTK3 --
have already done large part of latest necessary wrappers involved, as
glib, cairo, gdk, gtk... (nim-cairo is already at github because I got
some requests to put the files there, other will follow, see
https://github.com/stefansalewski)
The most demanding bug with which the initial author struggled a long
time seems
http://picheta.me/articles/2013/08/gtk-plus--a-method-to-guarantee-scrolling.html
Indeed, session restore with cursor at exactly the same location when a
file is reopened can be an important feature. I have not really
investigated this bug, still busy with the Nim bindings -- but I really
hope that this works out of the box for GTK3. If not, is the suggested
fix still the way to go?
