Uninstall it, and try with the cygwin package (install it via the cygwin installer).

I  setup cygwin package to use gtk3, now when I run gtk3-demo, the error is below.

$ gtk3-demo
**
ERROR:/usr/src/ports/gtk3/gtk3-3.10.7-2.i686/src/gtk+-3.10.7/demos/gtk-demo/main.c:892:setup_default_icon: assertion failed: (pixbuf) 

Aborted (core dumped) 

Gtk bundle just unzip so can't be uninstall...
