Specifically, i'd like to know how find_image_offset() works.

Right now gtk+-3.11 icon loading does not work for me, only built-in
icons are shown. I'm debugging the whole process of loading icons, and
currently i'm stuck at find_image_offset(). It gets 0 chain_offset,
calculates hash_offset, n_buckets and hash, then gets a new
chain_offset, and it's 0xffffffff, so the code just returns zero.
