Full screen app events

Hello!
Is there any way to consume keyboard and mouse events in a GTK app? I want to develop an internet cafe app and I must 'block' the computer once the prepaid gets out using a full screen blocking window. The user must no be able to bypass the blocking window using any keyboard shortcut. Any advice on this?
