Hello,
I'm new to this list and new to gtk+. I'm trying to build gtk+-2.14.3
using cygwin, so far unsuccessfully. I am using
./configure --disable-shared --enable-static --with-gdktarget=x11
where I have added the shared/static library options to avoid an earlier
problem in the compilation of the type:
*** Warning: This system can not link to static lib archive
...
libtool: link: warning: undefined symbols not allowed in i686-pc-cygwin
shared libraries
That problem seems to have been solved but now my make has failed in the
modules directory:
../../gtk/gtk-query-immodules-2.0 im-am-et.la im-cedilla.la
im-cyrillic-translit.la im-inuktitut.la im-ipa.la im-multipress.la
im-thai.la im-ti-er.la im-ti-et.la im-viqr.la im-xim.la > gtk.immodules
Cannot load module /usr/src/gtk+-2.14.3/modules/input/im-am-et.la: The
specified module could not be found.
/usr/src/gtk+-2.14.3/modules/input/im-am-et.la does not export GTK+ IM
module API: The specified module could not be found.
...
There is an error for each of the *.la files listed in the query. These
files exist in the directory so I am not sure what the problem is. I
don't have much experience in this, so any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks so much,
Ben
