gtk 2.14.1 error

okay my problem is that after i installed 2.14 and looked in the gtk2.0 folder only engines were shown after compile/install but seeing as the update to 2.14.1 fixes this, now I have diff. problems with this version - 2.13.7 works fine,

okay my initial problem with the new gtk+ started with can't load xpm format for jpilot, etc.. - fixed that by re-install all pixbuf stuff :), now my problem is/are the following errors and then a seg fault:

 GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: gdk-pixbuf XPM module lacks XPM data capability

however I did a search on the net and tried this suggestion as root of course: gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders

and I get the following error(s):

So far I've done the same thing will all gtk+ installs and all have worked fine up until basically the 2.14 series of this gtk+ library.

oh and when compiling 2.14.1 using pango 1.21.5 - gtk+ doesn't detect that version but detects the ol' ver. on my ubuntu system, however it detects 1.21.4 just fine..
