expose event on scrolled window while using scrollbars

Hi,

My application uses a scrolled-window to show some content. When I use the mouse-wheel everything scrolls fine, but as soon as I start dragging the scrollbars it doesn't update as often as I would like it to do. Sometimes the scroll-grip (or however it is called) is still at the top of the scrollbar while I keep my mouse steady at the bottom of the bottom (after trying to drag the grip-thing to the bottom). Until I move again or release the mouse, no expose event is fired. Is their maybe another event I should listen for ? BTW: The application is single threaded
