file chooser widget

Hello all,

In my application I have inserted into the main window the gtk file
chooser widget (not dialog, widget). As the user is constanly
importing files to the app, having it embeded in the main window is
more comfortable.

But I would like to make changes to this widget to make it suit my
needs better, for example, there is only opening files functionality
not saving (think of a multimedia file player) so I don't need the
add/remove buttons.

Anybody knows of any implementations of file choosers using the gtk
widget as parent/base?
