no need to: found what the problem is - me, being an idiot. the menus
that the GtkRecentAction proxies are created with all the properties
set, *except* the GtkRecentChooser:filter one. a one-line patch fixes
it. I'm committing it now, will be in gtk+ 2.12.1. thanks!
