Please tell exactly what you did and what your problem was. But not
hundreds of lines of log files, just the first error.

Hmm, I find those instructions maybe a bit *too* detailled. They tell
you exactly what to do, but not why. (And they will get outdated
if/when the dependencies are updated.) If you are going to just follow
exact instructions like that, you won't learn anything, will you? And
what then is the use of building something yourself?
