explicit printing of --help info?

I've been looking at the API reference at:

http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/glib/glib-Commandline-option-parser.html

and I don't see a way for the application itself to cause the "help 
text" to be displayed - that is the text one sees when specifying -? or 
--help.  I was hoping there was a g_option_mumble() call one could make 
to do that but don't see one in the API reference.

Does such a thing exist?
