I am pleased to announce that a new version of Gideon Designer with a 
full support for the C language is available: http://gideon.sourceforge.net

Gideon is a new advanced GUI designer for GTK+ toolkit. It was targeted 
for C++ originally, but finally it is language-independent. GUI's 
designed by this tool are saved in a GuiXml format. Client applications 
use GuiLoader library to create GUI at run-time (GuiLoader for Gideon is 
the same as libglade for Glade). GuiLoader and GuiXml are optimized for 
performance and stability.

Gideon 2.7.0 and GuiLoader are 100% feature-complete and usable, however 
the development in 2.7 line is not stopped yet, minor feature additions 
and cleanups will be performed until 2.8.0 version (or 2.10.0 if 2.8 is 
to be skipped). Gideon is a hobby project; all packages, including 
libraries, are licensed under GPL. I would be glad to answer any questions.
