Interactive search window is not shown on Windows XP OS when the list of items is longer

Hi,

When the list of items is longer, the popup menu (drop down list) is
longer too. In this case the interactive search window is not shown.
We try the same in Linux and it works properly. For popup menus where
the list is not so big the interactive search window is visible.

Any ideas how to solve the problem?
