There is no gtk-devel but gtk2-devel as far as I can see from yast system
update.

I downgraded to gcc 3.4.6 as they (MPlayer) mention 3.x compilers are OK. Then
compiled Gtk and MPlayer with it.
Ok. This may not be your problem and you may had enough about it. I wish that
packman did work. Really :)
