cross platform programming problem

   I use gtk+ and C language compiled a GUI program, it could be excuted in Fedora core 3, when the program copy to a redhat operating system, it cannot been executed and the system reports" /lib/libc.so.6:version'GLIBC_2.3' not found(required by ovi)
   How can I do with it?
   By the way, redhat system could not be changed.
