Universal Keyboards

Anybody has tried an object which simulates an universal keyboard on screen 
?

* Could anyone give some information about management keys labels ?

I think that may be a logical representation for each key. Is it true ?. Are 
they inside gdk/gdkkeysyms.h ?. In which range ?

Is there any printed book, web page, ... on it ?. Any advice ?.
