These modules won't be compiled on Windows unless you have FreeType
installed, and even then, they won't be used for rendering under
GTK+ for Windows.

Complex text under GTK+ for Windows is done using Uniscribe. To get
Pango support for Uniscribe, you need to have the Platform SDK 
installed and pass the right command line option to GLib's configure
to allow it to find the Uniscribe header file.
