Help, crash now error.

Hello All,

I've been using jhbuild to get the recent source of the gnome project
toward work with java-gnome.

Everything worked great (about once a week I would to the build from
current CVS) until this weekend my laptop crashed and I had a few inodes
erased by fsck. Since then, I've been getting error like this,

(gnome_segv:7589): Gtk-WARNING **: Ignoring the separator setting

So, I decided to rebuild with jhbuild. but When the build reaches gtk+,
I get this error:

[com_ ibook2 gtk+-2.4.0]$

the error is uninformative to say the least, and I've been through the
Makefile to see it there is a typo or anything...

Please Help, I need this for my thesis presentation next week, and would
like to have it back ASAP.

Thanks to any and all ahead of time.
