relocation error

I have solaris 7 on sun sparc. I have installed vim
6.2 and when I ran, vim needed gtk to work. so I
installed gtk 2.2.4. When i ran vim after installing
gtk I got the following error message:

ld.so.1: vim: fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/local/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: symbol
gdk_font_equal: referenced symbol not found
Killed

What shuld I do??
