Re:Re:glib's prerequisite of gettext

My goal is to get Midnight Commander (mc) installed on my virtual 
server provided by my web host.  I don't have true root access, so I can't
install from rpm.  

I'm trying to keep the disk usage to a minimum.  MC needed glib, and glib 
needs gettext.

You mentioned some simple tweaks to get glib to compile w/o gettext.  Can 
you pass those along or point me to where they are documented?
