gtk2 fonts too small on FreeBSD 5.1

Hello,
I'm using the gtk-2.2.4_1 port for FreeBSD 5.1, and I noticed a decrease
in the size of the text that is displayed by each app using gtk2,
comparing to gtk1.
Since I'm not using gtk2 for a long time, I'm not sure that the fonts
were displayed bigger before, that's why I made this screenshot of my
desktop, showing gaim + 2 little hello world windows. the one on the
left is made with gtk1 and the one on the right was build with gtk2. As
you can see there is a noticeable differences + the fonts on gaim are
very small and rather ugly.
