GdkPixbuf in GtkTreeView

Currently I have to handle mouse clicks (differentiating left/right 
buttons) on a GtkImage that contains a GdkPixbuf and is plugged thus into 
a GtkEventBox.
If I would draw the GdkPixbuf inside a GtkTreeViewColumn through a 
GtkCellRendererPixbuf can I still get the mouse clicks on it? And if yes 
how should I do it?
