Hot keys...

Hello,
Ihave a question regarding "hot keys" or what they should be called. I
have created a menubar whitch contains a menuItem called Edit that is
created like this: gtk_menu_item_new_with_mnemonic("_Edit");. Now I can
acess this Edit menu by pressing <Alt>e . Now I wonder if there is any way
that I can change that key combination so the menu gets activated with for
exampel the key combination <Alt><ctrl>.
