Split gtk program into separate C files?

I'm new to gtk programming.  I would like to create a simple window with a 
button.  No problem.  How do I go about putting the main window into one "c" 
file and putting the:
void CloseTheApp ()
{
 gtk_main_quit () ;
}
into another file.  Would I simply create a "lib.h" file declaring 
"CloseTheApp"?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
