If clist is deprecated..then what?

I was reading the documentation for GTK and I noticed that the CLIST
widget was now deprecated. If that is the case, then what has replaced
it?

I'd like to write a database application that uses the CLIST widget, but
if it won't be around much longer, then I'd like to know what widget I
should develop my application with.
