Have you set the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the library where
you installed glib ?

Subject: can't install gtk+ & glib
hello
i'm trying to install the gtk+ 2.2.1, but configure failes with
"Requested 'glib-2.0 >= 2.1.4' but version of GLib is 2.0.6"
then i install glib 2.2.1 like that:
./configure
make
make install
no error here.
but the configure of gtk+ 2.2.1 still failes with the same error.
what do i wrong?
Stefan Mueller
