Hi,
My apologies if this has been answered before (I did check the FAQ).
I have just installed gtk 2.0 on Solaris. After correcting a few missing dependencies I got it all to build. I used.
atk-1.0.0.tar.gz
glib-2.0.0.tar.gz
gtk+-2.0.0.tar.gz
jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz
libpng-1.2.1.tar.gz
pango-1.0.0.tar.gz
pango-fonts-0.3.tar.gz
pkgconfig-0.12.0.tar.gz
tiff-v3.5.5.tar.gz
zlib-1.1.4.tar.gz
I did configure gtk with the --without-libjpeg option because I couldn't get that to build, but no sweat I don't need
jpeg support for my application.
gtk-demo built ok except for these warnings.
ld: warning: file /export/home/pjb/gtk2/gtk+-2.0.0/gdk/.libs/libgdk-x11-2.0.so: linked to ../../gdk/.libs/libgdk-x11-2.0.so: attempted multiple inclusion of file
ld: warning: file /export/home/pjb/gtk2/gtk+-2.0.0/gdk-pixbuf/.libs/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so: linked to ../../gdk-pixbuf/.libs/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so: attempted multiple inclusion of file
When I try to run gtk-demo I get Segmentation fault (core dumped).
Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks,
