GtkSpinnButton ? Gtk1.3.12

Hello i want tu use a spin button to change a time function. Now i want that one 
spinbutton shows the minutes at this format : "00" - "59" im setting the text to "00" 
and my format goes from 0 to 59. And the SpinnButton shows only one digit "0" intead 
of "00" how could i change that (Gtk 1.3.12) !!!!
