Make gtk 1.3 ??

 Hi 
 
 I install Gtk 1.3.7,and i can run "testgtk"
  and "gtk-demo".

 when i want compile my program,
 what can i use instead `gtk-config --libs --cflags`?

 i can't compile my program.
