Pango on Slackware 8.0

Hi,

i have the same problem as the most other with pango. I can't build it
:-(

I have found many error postings but none of the posted 'solutions'
solved my problem.

I have also found 3 matches on google:

Is it possible that i build 'gtk+-2.0.5' without pango?

i have try './configure --without-pango ...' but this doesn't work :-(

Please tell me how can in build 'gtk+-2.0.5' on my slackware system.
