scrolled window/clist signal handler

used glade and dropped a clist into a scrolled window which is inside a
fixed boxed.

want to connect a signal handler to the scrolled window(to indicate when
the user scrolls the window)

used scrolled vertical window signal and didn't get any callback.
used button press event and printed out all events to find out what
events are happening
and only button presses or double click events.

don't know why the vertical scrolled window signal is not coming thru.

any help?
