For 2.0, no chance. For 2.2, maybe, but it would probably need to be
contributed by someone outside the current core hackers, though you
never know.

There are a couple of grid widgets as third-party add-ons, I think. At
least GtkSheet that I know of. I don't know if they do what you need
or not.
