Ugly default font

Hiya -

I wrote a gtk app that I'd like everybody in my company to use but the
default font is far too big and I was wondering if it's possible in my
code to set my own font and size to overwrite the .gtkrc or do I have to
ask every person to edit theire .gtkrc file ?
